"Before the Ice Cream Melts," a picture book written by Kenji Ozawa and the Japan-America Society for Psychic Horror, is a comical yet slightly sad picture book set during Halloween in the United States. The world of this picture book is brought to life in a limited-time shop, "Before the Ice Cream Melts ~Kenji Ozawa and the Japan Society for Psychic Horror's TOKYO Liberation Zone~," in collaboration with Center Park/TOKYO Liberation Zone on the second floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku, until October 31st.
"This limited-time shop features a wide lineup of stylishly designed, event-exclusive products. In response to eager requests from fashionable men and women who are sensitive to the cold, a new pair of long johns (underwear) featuring the picture book's character, Rock, printed on a green striped background has been released. During the 2016 tour, special long johns made from carefully selected cotton selected by Ozawa Kenji himself were sold, but they continued to sell out.

Each serially numbered original silkscreen poster is autographed by Kenji Ozawa (bottom right) and Daisuke Hongolian (bottom left). Available in two colors—orange, the key color of this event, and simple white—only 50 of each color are available. Each poster, featuring Daisuke Hongolian's original illustrations, is silkscreened and hand-printed, making it a rare, one-of-a-kind item. There will also be a variety of original goods featuring illustrations from the book, including mugs that, when lined up in groups of three, look like a parade of Halloween ghosts, and a mini tote bag with the words "Churika Churee!" (the American pronunciation of "Trick or treat!", as stated in the book). Don't miss the On-travelling parts corner, which can be used to create DIY Halloween costumes, and a display of costumes from the book.
In addition, special workshops to help you enjoy Halloween will be held, such as "Silkscreen Printing Workshop! by SixPACK" on October 21st, 22nd, 28th, and 29th, and "Mask Making to Transform into Owls and Cats! By On-travelling Designs" on October 24th, 25th, and 27th. For details on how to apply, please see the online media "Isetan Park Net" (http://isetanparknet.com/news_event/171004-kenjiozawa.html).

The first 100 people each day (one time per day/per person) will receive a free candy gift at Center Park/Cocoiku Park on the 6th floor of the Main Building! A Halloween fair will also be held at the same time!
