Toga celebrates its 20th anniversary with a collaboration with Barbour! One-of-a-kind jackets and more!

Oct 12, 2017

TOGA will release unisex items on October 18th, its first collaboration with Barbour, the outdoor brand that is a supplier to the British Royal Family.

TOGA, which was founded in 1997, will celebrate its 20th anniversary this October. To commemorate this, the collaboration with Barbour has been realized for two lines: "TOGA PICTA," a one-of-a-kind line that combines vintage clothing and existing items to reconstruct them into something new, and "TOGA PULLA," a line that incorporates the shapes and mood used in the collection line's designs into everyday wear.

From "TOGA Picta x Barbour," special outerwear will be available in limited quantities, based on two styles: Barbour's signature long-selling waxed jacket "BEDALE" and the waxed scape "LOCK WAX CAPE," characterized by its rounded collar. These include a docking jacket that looks like two of TOGA's classic jackets layered together, and a cape that can be worn in a variety of ways by attaching a belt from the inside. Sales will begin at the TOGA Harajuku store and the TOGA Osaka store from October 18th.

Also, from "TOGA Pulla x Barbour," an original pattern jacket (69,000 yen) will be available in two colors: black and khaki, featuring the letters "TOKYO" and "LONDON," the bases of TOGA and Barbour, printed on the back of the "BEDALE," along with hawks, dragons, and flowers. The items will be sold exclusively at the TOGA 20th POP-UP STORE, which will be held on the 3rd floor of Isetan Shinjuku at Center Park/The Stage #3 from October 18th, at Isetan Closet/TOGA VA STORE on the 4th floor of Osaka Lucua, and at h of GINZA on the 4th floor of Ginza Mitsukoshi.
