During Balenciaga's Spring/Summer 2018 women's collection runway show, the brand unveiled the "Foam," a 10cm platform shoe based on Crocs' classic clog. It represents a new approach to placing an already recognizable item within the framework of luxury fashion.

The shoe, specially produced by Crocs for Balenciaga, was unveiled in a look towards the end of the show in a color lineup that included pink, yellow, and gray. The upper is adorned with the Balenciaga logo, the letter B, accessories featuring national flags, roses, and animal motifs. Crocs said in a statement, "When Balenciaga approached us, we were intrigued by the opportunity to explore what we could create together and push the boundaries of our design and manufacturing. Working with Balenciaga has been a great pleasure for our team and reaffirms the relevance of our iconic clog in today's fashion and design world, creating an excitement and energy around this unexpected partnership."
