Pierre Hermé Paris has released its gorgeous 2017 Autumn Collection, packed with the flavors of autumn. Available exclusively at Pierre Hermé Paris Aoyama, Hotel New Otani, The Ritz-Carlton Kyoto, and the official online boutique, the "Mooncakes" series is inspired by the moon, a symbol of the night. Released annually in Paris and Hong Kong, this beloved product is finally available in Japan. This year's flavors include "Praline et Chocolat," a chocolate biscuit and chocolate noir; "Ispahan," a raspberry and rose biscuit and lychee; "Infiniment Vanille," an almond and vanilla-flavored biscuit; and "Tébert et Yuzu," a yuzu confit and matcha-flavored biscuit. An assortment of four (3,600 yen) and eight (7,000 yen) will be available. The sale period is until October 4th.
The "Halloween" series, which is also making its debut this year, includes a lineup of macarons, pumpkin muffins, and tarts. "Halloween" (2,600 yen) is an assortment of two macarons each of three flavors (pumpkin, chocolate, and marron glacé), and comes in a limited edition box inspired by the cheerful atmosphere of a Halloween party. It will be on sale until October 31st. Other items available include "Tarte aux Potirons" (600 yen), decorated with pumpkin cream and pumpkin seed tuile, and "Muffin aux Potirons" (450 yen), a pumpkin-flavored muffin. In addition, from October 1st, the classic macaron lineup will be expanded to six flavors (each 280 yen) perfect for the harvest season. They come in moist and mellow flavors, including Earl Grey, marron glacé, pear, and apple. Also available as a limited-edition item for fall 2017 are a set of six (2,400 yen), ten (3,500 yen), fifteen (5,200 yen), and forty (14,000 yen).
