Olive Mook's book "Monyamur to Cats" is holding a charity exhibition "I want to be of service to cats"

An exhibition titled "Meow, Cats Are Helpful," based on the specially edited mook book "Cats Monyamur" by the magazine Olive (published by Magazine House), is being held in the AL 1st floor main space (3-7-17 Ebisu Minami, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo). The exhibition runs until July 14th.

The exhibition features cat paintings, photographs, sculptures, handicrafts, T-shirts, and more. Items on display are sold by bidding, and the proceeds, along with those from a bazaar run by exhibitors, will be donated to cat volunteer organizations. Exhibitors include Yasuhiko Sachie, Inoue Sayuki, Inomoto Noriko, Omori Yuko, Kuroda Masuro and Tomoko, Sakai Junko, Saphia, Sekine Yumiko, Chikada Mariko, Banta Ryosuke, Minami Shinbo, Yamada Junko, Yamamoto Koichiro, and others.

During the event, artist and illustrator BAL will be exhibiting a video and spatial installation called "Kitchenet + Cat." In addition, exhibitors will be holding a bazaar on the 29th and 30th, and Tama-chan will be holding a sushi-making workshop called "Kokoro no Kitten Happy Time" on the 30th.

"Monyamour to Cats" features cat photos and stories by manga artist Kurihara Mamoru, photographer Odan Machiko, stylists Okao Miyoko and Ohashi Toshiko, and more. It also introduces cat-shaped sweets and miscellaneous goods, as well as news about cats from around the world, such as cats living in Paris.
