DEAN & DELUCA's new restaurant concept, "THE ARTISAN TABLE・DEAN & DELUCA," will open in Akasaka Intercity AIR, a complex opening in Akasaka, Tokyo on September 29th.
2018 marks the 15th anniversary of DEAN & DELUCA's arrival in Japan, and this new restaurant is a food laboratory restaurant that creates new dining experiences, offering dishes made with seasonal ingredients that can only be enjoyed at that moment.
The restaurant is designed in a maisonette style, with different dining styles on the first and second floors. The first floor has a total of 49 seats, including a bar counter and terrace seating, while the second floor has a total of 36 seats, including private rooms. The first floor offers a la carte dishes featuring seasonal ingredients, while the second floor is home to a chef from Dean & Deluca who travels around the country, rotating every three months to create and serve course menus using the most delicious seasonal ingredients, regardless of genre. The second floor also features a chef's counter, which can be rented out for a luxurious private dining experience. While the restaurant will only be open for dinner at the time of opening, it will also begin serving lunch from March 1st. Reservations will begin in early September.
