The UNIQLO U Fall/Winter 2017-18 collection, created by the design team at UNIQLO's Paris R&D Center, led by artistic director Christophe Lemaire, will be available in stores and online starting September 29th in Japan. This season's collection showcases the ever-evolving pursuit of "LifeWear of the future," featuring 46 women's styles, 27 men's styles, and 11 merchandise items that proactively incorporate innovative ideas in design, patterns, material development, and sewing methods. The women's collection features five items: three dresses, one sweater, and one skirt made with seamless "3D U-Knit" technology, which boasts a beautiful, three-dimensional silhouette and comfortable fit. The fit-and-flare "Merino Rib Mock Neck Dress," whose knit pattern adapts to the body's contours, is expected to be a popular item. Also noteworthy are the "Women's BLOCKTECK Trench Coat," "Men's BLOCKTECK Coat," and "Men's BLOCKTECK Mod Coat," which are made with BLOCKTECK, a high-performance material that is water-repellent, windproof, and breathable. Additionally, a new "Seamless Down Track Jacket" will be available in both men's and women's versions, incorporating new technology developed in collaboration with Toray.
