Outdoor brand THE NORTH FACE and select shop BEAMS have teamed up to produce a full-scale collaborative collection. A total of five items will be released on September 16th.
The North Face stated, "We want to return to our roots once again and convey the essence of the brand story and why each product was made," while BEAMS stated, "This is not just a reproduction. It is a collection that embodies a strong sense of style and aspiration for functional beauty." The collection was born from the desire of both brands to combine the sensibilities and experience cultivated in the separate fields of outdoor culture and street culture. The lineup includes the "Expedition Light Parka" (3 colors/¥32,000 each), a long-length waterproof jacket designed for mountain climbing from early autumn to early winter that is waterproof, windproof, and warm; the "Expedition Light ALPHA Jacket" (¥20,000), an insulated jacket made of breathable, lightweight material with synthetic filling that controls the temperature inside the garment; the "Expedition Light Pant" (3 colors/¥16,000 each), high-strength, highly stretchable trekking pants; the "L/S Expedition Light Crew" (3 colors/¥6,800 each), a high-performance cut-and-sew shirt made of jersey fabric that is a blend of polyester and wool yarns and combines sweat absorption, quick drying, heat retention, and moisture control; and the "Expedition Light 5 Panel Cap" (3 colors/¥4,200 each), a cap made of stretch material that fits the shape of your head. Available at some The North Face directly managed stores and Beams stores nationwide, with the exception of some areas.
