To celebrate its second anniversary, the Kyoto branch of cold-pressed juice specialty store DAVID OTTO JUICE will be holding a summer festival event on August 11th and 12th.
The event will feature the greengrocer "Seika Mikotoya," which travels all over Japan, selling seasonal vegetables, mainly those grown naturally, from a mobile truck and holding workshops on enjoying vegetables. In addition to hosting a market featuring fresh vegetables and fruits from across the country, the event will also feature special juices created in collaboration between David Otto Juice and Mikotoya.
The collaboration juice lineup will include four flavors: "Mixed Pineapple + Passion Fruit + Apple + Coconut," "Cucumber + Snack Pineapple + Romaine Lettuce + Mint + Apple," "Red Sweet Orange + Coconut," and "Watermelon + Beetroot Chioggia + Mint + Lemon," each priced at 800 yen (350ml).
During the event, juice purchasers will be able to participate in a participatory workshop where they can make candy apples using their favorite fruits and vegetables, and there will also be a sale of Mikotoya's special fruit kuzu pudding made with 100% kuzu flour, as well as tomato scooping, making it an event that can be enjoyed by children and adults alike.
