On August 19th, Repetto's "Barre au Sol Choreographique Repetto Special Class" will be held at Tamagawa Terrace, the rooftop of Tamagawa Takashimaya Shopping Center in Setagaya, Tokyo. The French term "barre lesson on the floor" means "ballet lesson" and even beginners can easily practice correct positioning. The class will improve flexibility and effectively train abdominal and back muscles from the inside out. The instructor will be Julie Schepens, a former Paris Opera Ballet School graduate who teaches students hoping to enter the school and also organizes workshops and dance events both in Japan and abroad. The class will be divided into two sessions, with a capacity of 15 people per session (seven from Tamagawa Terrace members and eight at the store). Applicants must pay a participation fee of 3,000 yen (tax included) and apply to the Repetto Shop on the first floor of Tamagawa Takashimaya Shopping Center.
