The hugely popular game "Pokémon" and Isetan Shinjuku store are collaborating to hold an event called "POKEMON x ISETAN - An Isetan Department Store Appears in Shinjuku City!" from August 16th to 21st at the event hall on the 7th floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku store.

The Game Boy software "Pokémon Red and Green" was released in 1996, and this first collaboration with Isetan Shinjuku, which has come to fruition 21 years later, sees the opening of an "Isetan Department Store" in Shinjuku City, a fictional town in the world of the "Pokémon" games. The venue will feature a number of limited edition items, including the "Scarf ISETAN IN POKEMON" (20,000 yen) featuring the event's main visual, the adorable "Pikachu ISETAN IN POKEMON Plush Toy" (2,000 yen) featuring Pikachu with the scarf from the main visual wrapped around its neck, "Rubber Magnets" (4 types/700 yen each) that recreate Pokemon using rubber dots, and a "Pouch" (7,600 yen) in collaboration with hugme (hug3). There will also be a lounge for the fictional enemy organization "Ise-dan," which hunts for all the good stuff. They will be serving "Memories of an Encounter, Secret Three Curries" (2,474 yen per serving, tax included), which features butter chicken and three types of curry (Indian green, Thai red) served with Pikachu-colored turmeric rice; "Master Ball Parfait" (1,718 yen per serving, tax included), a special mango parfait topped with a vanilla ice cream ball; and "Moo Moo Milk and Fresh Fruit Mix Au Lait" (962 yen per serving, tax included), a refreshing drink made with summer fruits and fresh milk (all reservations required). In addition, special menus will be available at four restaurants in the restaurant area on the 7th floor and at Happy Home Kitchen in West Park on the 6th floor, and limited-edition items will also be sold at The Stage #6 in West Park on the 6th floor.
