Shonan Asian Market, an event featuring Asian food, drinks, sweets, and miscellaneous goods, will be held at Shonan T-SITE in Fujisawa, Kanagawa Prefecture, on August 26th and 27th. Asian countries have become increasingly popular travel destinations in recent years, drawing attention for their food and miscellaneous goods. This event will bring together over 20 businesses, primarily from Shonan, to recreate the vibrant and lively atmosphere of a local Asian market. Food and drink offerings include healthy Vietnamese home cooking at Vietnamese Cuisine Cyclo; Puen Thai Food Restaurant, an authentic Thai restaurant certified by the Thai Embassy; Pelangi, which primarily serves Indonesian cuisine; Asakusa Douhua Daio, which serves the traditional Taiwanese dessert, touhua, in the authentic Taiwanese style; Epice, a Vietnamese coffee specialty store that serves rich, drip-filtered Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk; and COCINA, a small bento shop in Hayama.

Other stores offering miscellaneous goods include "Linka," which sells everyday Asian goods and fashion; "truck market," which mainly deals in handicraft supplies and travels to Vietnam once a year to purchase miscellaneous goods; "OKKO YOKKO," which sells Asian handmade goods, mainly from Thailand (August 27th only); and "Asian Depot," one of the largest stores in the Seisho area of Kanagawa Prefecture that handles Asian furniture and miscellaneous goods.

In addition, tickets and merchandise for the Vietnamese film "Finding Yellow Flowers in the Grassland" will also be on sale on August 26th only. The film will be released at Shinjuku Musashino-kan from August 19th and at Yokohama Cinemarin from September 2nd.
