Jonny Johansson's Acne Studios presented its Spring/Summer 2018 men's collection in a presentation format at the University of Paris. The audience, who would normally watch the models on the catwalk, instead emerged from backstage and walked down the runway, watching the seated models. The show reversed this, with the collection inspired by Swedish summer houses. The collection featured relaxed loungewear, incorporating details from Swedish summer house interiors. Even the outerwear, the coats, were crafted from lightweight materials that allowed for easy slip-on and easy outings. This concept continued into the mesh shoes and sheer shirts, creating an endlessly light feel. Many of the pieces were also tailored to be oversized, with the jackets and trouser hems flapping out when the wearer sat down, accentuating the oversized feel. There are many elements reminiscent of the 60s and 70s, such as a rose knit motif that resembles a cushion, stitching that is reminiscent of a sofa, and a knit vest with a Scandinavian motif, creating an irresistible vintage and retro atmosphere.
