Dolce & Gabbana's Spring/Summer 2018 Men's Collection was held in Milan on June 17th. Following on from their Fall/Winter 2017-18 collection in January, the brand featured 92 models, including millennial models, musicians, artists, and Instagrammers who wield enormous influence on social media platforms like Instagram and Vine. Fans crowded the venue, further heating up Milan's scorching heat, which had been hitting 32 degrees Celsius for days. Appearing in the show were a host of second-generation celebrities, including Cindy Crawford's son, Presley Gerber; Jude Law's son, Rafferty Law; and Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee's son, Brandon Thomas Lee. Sylvester Stallone's daughters, Sistine and Sophia Stallone, and model Sonia Ben Ammar, who garnered attention for her date photos with Bricklin Beckham, also rocked men's bomber jackets over lingerie for a sexy walk.

This season's collection theme was "King of Hearts." The collection mixed various elements, including playing card motifs and inspiration from Memphis, the design group led by Ettore Sottsass, which had a major impact on interior design around the world in the 1980s.

Alongside the Sicilian motifs that are part of Dolce & Gabbana's DNA, suiting with a playing card print, and knitwear featuring samurai and geisha prints, Japonisme motifs such as cranes, chrysanthemums, and cherry blossoms, as well as animal and floral prints, were featured. Top-notch items of the season, such as MA1 jackets, baseball jackets, and gown coats, appeared one after another. It's a flood of prints, intarsia, and embroidery reminiscent of the pre-bubble era of the 1980s. It's as if the party is just about to begin.

Among the millennials featured are hair and makeup artist Nara Yuya, hairstylist Watanabe Takuma, and models Taiki, Noah, Isoda Tatsuo, and Matsuno Nochi from Japan, and it looks like party invitations will continue to be sent out to the next generation of influencers around the world.
