Dolce & Gabbana's Fall/Winter 2017-18 men's collection, presented on January 14th, featured a lineup of millennial stars. Huge crowds of fans lined up outside the venue to catch a glimpse of the models. The show showcased a gorgeous, fun, and entertaining collection, seemingly shaking off the sadness of Gucci, Bottega Veneta, and Jil Sander's absence from Milan Men's Fashion Week this season.
The show kicked off with a live performance by Austin Mahon, the 20-year-old singer who rose to fame through his YouTube videos. The first look was by Cameron Dallas, who gained popularity on the video sharing site Vine and has 17.6 million followers on Instagram. The 49 millennials featured in the collection include Bob Dylan's grandson Levi Dylan, Cindy Crawford's son Presley Gerber, Jude Law's son Rafferty Law, Lionel Richie's daughter Sofia Richie, and Sylvester Stallone's daughters Sistine and Sophia Stallone.
The collection was like an upturned jewel box, featuring pieces from Dolce & Gabbana's iconic archives. Classic sartorial suits and coats were paired with tuxedos, while animal hoodies, animal-print knitwear, pajama suits, long down jackets, and gown coats were featured in the 112 looks, all of which paid homage to '90s D&G.
