HIGASHIYA's lineup of "Hitotsukako" (bite-sized confections) will be updated and launched on July 7th.
Each confection is named after a traditional Japanese color, and the series is carefully crafted with a variety of ingredients wrapped in different bean paste. The set, which contains six classic confections that have been sold since the store's founding in 2003 - "Natsume Butter," "Torinoko," "Shikon," "Fukajiko," "Rokkocha," and "Hinoeda" - has been given the new name "Hitotsukako Shin" (1,800 yen).
In addition, a new set, "Hitotsukako Gyo" (1,800 yen), will be released, which allows you to enjoy three "Sekki Hitokukako" (bite-sized confections) representing each of the 24 solar terms, along with the three classic confections "Kanji," "Moe Onion," and "Komurasaki." From July 7th, you can enjoy seasonal flavors every two weeks, such as "Akanoka" made with white bean paste and star anise, "Bicha" made with roasted green tea bean paste and sweet oranges from July 21st, and "Kurumi" made with walnut and black sesame bean paste from August 7th.
These products are available at HIGASHIYA GINZA, HIGASHIYA man and the online shop.
