The Paris Photo Aperture Foundation Photobook Award exhibition will be held at the IMA CONCEPT STORE in Roppongi from December 5th. The exhibition brings together all 95 books nominated in three categories from 2012 to 2014 for the Paris Photo Aperture Foundation Photobook Award, the world's largest photography fair established in 2012. In addition to photobooks, the exhibition will also feature a selection of prints, talks, and an "Aperture Library" introducing the Aperture Foundation's activities. The Aperture Foundation was founded in New York in 1952 as a nonprofit foundation dedicated to contributing to the development of photographic culture. Its members include photographers and curators, including Minor White, Ansel Adams, and Dorothea Lange. In addition to the photography magazine "aperture," he has published numerous legendary photobooks. In 2005, he opened "Aperture Gallery," where he produces, publishes, and exhibits photography-related projects.
