NIKELAB has collaborated with Japanese brand LOOPWHEELER to release the "NIKELAB X LOOPWHEELER Air Force 1 Ultraforce" (19,940 yen including tax) and the "NIKELAB X LOOPWHEELER Sock Dart" (19,940 yen including tax). The shoes will be available for purchase from July 16th at NIKE.COM/NIKELAB, NIKELAB MA5, and LOOPWHEELER locations in Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka. Inspired by indigo dyeing, a method deeply rooted in Japanese culture, the shoes utilize a special knitting process to ensure just the right amount of stretch and flexibility, just like the apparel and footwear collaborations between Nike and LOOPWHEELER that have been ongoing since 2008. The shoe is divided into color blocks using two fabrics: a dark indigo line on the toe and midfoot of the Air Force 1 and the toe and instep of the Sock Dart, and a heathered cotton blend of indigo and white on the midfoot, heel, and tongue of the Air Force 1. The inside of the shoe is lined with heathered cotton material for a comfortable fit.
