Japan's first Rimowa concept store opens in Ginza

Jul 17, 2017

German luggage brand RIMOWA opened its second Ginza store, the RIMOWA Store Ginza 6-chome (6-8-19 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo), on July 14th. The first and second floors, with over 170 square meters of sales floor space, offer a wide selection of the brand's world-renowned aluminum and polycarbonate suitcases, fully embodying the brand's vision. Products are displayed around a round presentation table in the center of the room, providing demonstrations and introducing products that meet various needs. The store's innovative design, a first for Japan, highlights the allure of the suitcases, featuring their distinctive grooves on a pure white platform, reflecting their lustrous beauty against the polished aluminum objects. The wood floor, a first for RIMOWA in its previous stores, creates a warm contrast with the whiteness of the displays, creating a perfect harmony between the minimalist décor and the perfectly crafted products.

In addition, the basement floor houses a state-of-the-art service center, which provides not only standard repair services but also on-site repair services such as wheel and key replacement.
