Sacai pops up at colette in Paris, featuring limited edition Fragment Design items and a cafe serving Toriba coffee

Jul 11, 2017

From September 4th to 30th, sacai will open Jardin sacai at colette, the brand's Paris home.

Inspired by colette's playfulness and bold humor, Parisian gardens, and the boundaries of Parisian elegance and formality, the store will evoke the brand's spirit through couture techniques combined with street elements, creating a fun and engaging shopping space.

The center of the store will feature a variety of limited-edition products by designer Chitose Abe, and a special space featuring Fragment Design and its founder Hiroshi Fujiwara will also feature limited-edition items for sale.

The store's special furniture, designed by the brand's product designer GELCHOP, combines archival forms with modern vintage pieces. Additionally, the store will feature a photography exhibition featuring archive works by photographer Craig McDean, which will also be sold as limited-edition T-shirts. Limited-edition products and collaborations will be released weekly, featuring sacai men's, women's, children's, and bag collections, as well as ceramics by Astier de Villatte, AMBUSH, BE@RBRICK by MEDICOM TOY, Charlotte Chesnais, CONVERSE, GLOBE-TROTTER, LACOSTE, Levi's jean's, Olympia Le-Tan, organic beauty products by SHIGETA, The North Face, Toraya, ZUCCA, and many other brands. A pop-up cafe will also be set up, offering exclusive menus by Japanese brands TORIBA COFFEE and BALMUDA. Designer Chitose Abe said, "To me, colette is like sacai's home in Paris. It was one of the first stores to accept sacai collections, and it remains a trusted partner. I am honored that they trusted and chose sacai for this project in Sarah's wonderful playground."
