Longines releases new visual featuring brand ambassadors Masahiro Motoki and UTA

In 2022, the storied Swiss watch brand Longines marks its 190th anniversary since its founding, and will unveil a new visual, "LIGHT and SHADOW - Sparkling Elegance," featuring brand ambassadors Masahiro Motoki and UTA. The campaign visuals, which will be released on May 25, 2022, are based on the concept of "LIGHT and SHADOW," and depict Longines' philosophy of "elegance" with a relaxed atmosphere.

Masahiro Motoki's refined aesthetic sense and elegance that exudes adult intelligence and dignity, along with UTA's elegance that exudes dynamism and refined taste. Masahiro Motoki


Born in 1965. Made his TV drama debut in 1981, and after a career as a singer, began concentrating on acting in 1989 with the film "226."
He has won numerous film awards both in Japan and abroad, including Blue Ribbon Awards and individual awards such as the US and Japanese Academy Awards, for his roles in "Shiko Funjatta" (1992), "Departures" (2008), "The Longest Day in Japan" (2015), "A Long Excuse" (2016), and more. He has also appeared in the NHK special drama "Clouds Above the Hill," and the historical dramas "Kirin ga Kuru" and "Influenza" (BS4K). He has a unique presence in the world of commercials, and continues to be active and supported in both name and reality.

Model. Born in Tokyo in 1997. Attended international schools from a young age, studied abroad in Switzerland and the United States, and is currently enrolled in university in Japan. In 2018, he signed with the French modeling agency SUCCESS and made his runway debut at Paris Fashion Week. Since then, he has made the most of his 190cm height to balance his studies with basketball, while also working as a model in Milan, London, and New York.
