Puma x Ronnie Fieg collaboration sneakers available exclusively at Dover Ginza

Jul 14, 2014

The "XT-2 Achromatic" sneaker (available in white and black for ¥22,000 each), the third collaboration between PUMA and footwear designer Ronnie Fieg, will be released at DOVER STREET MARKET GINZA on July 26th.
Inspired by Dover Street Market, this new interpretation is based on the classic XT-2 running sneaker, featuring PUMA's first Trinomic cushioning system. The TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) running shoe incorporates thick premium leather for a luxurious feel. The upper features Italian glove leather, the lining is made of soft calfskin leather, and the stitching of different materials demonstrates attention to detail. A premium calfskin bag is included.

In Japan, the shoes are only sold at Dover Street Market Ginza. Sizes range from 22cm to 25cm in 1cm increments, and half sizes from 26cm to 29.5cm. They're so popular that as soon as they were released on the Dover website, they received phone inquiries.

Fieg, a native of Queens, New York, is the designer of his own brand, Kith NYC, and has collaborated with many brands, including Asics, Timberland, New Balance, and Dr. Martens. He first teamed up with Puma for the Disc Blaze Cove in 2012. In 2013, he reconstructed the Disc Blaze for the "Coat of Arms" project to coincide with Paris Fashion Week.
