Parisian fragrance brand Maison Francis Kurkdjian will release a limited-edition gold-colored edition of its Globe-Trotter fragrance travel case (17,500 yen, fragrance not included) on August 20th.
Perfumer Kurkdjian embarked on a 120,000km world trip in 2013, which was more than three times the circumference of the Earth, and experienced the wait time, flights, and time differences. He created the Globe-Trotter, which means "globe traveler," so that he could carry his favorite fragrance with him wherever he went to soothe his travel fatigue.
The zinc-colored Zinc Edition (16,500 yen), reminiscent of the rooftops of Parisian buildings, is currently on sale, but a luxurious Gold Edition will be released in limited quantities. A leather pouch is also included.
In addition, refills exclusively for Globe-Trotter are available separately: Amyris Femme Eau de Parfum (11ml x 3 bottles, 12,500 yen), which has a soft floral chypre scent, and Amyris Homme Eau de Toilette (11ml x 3 bottles, 11,500 yen), which has a fresh floral oriental scent.
