Actress Halle Berry will be joining MICHAEL KORS's anti-hunger campaign, "Watch Hunger Stop," for the second year in a row. Halle has been involved with the campaign since spring 2013 and will appear in the promotion of the "100 Series" charity watch, where each watch sold provides nutritious food to 100 children in hunger-stricken areas. The limited edition, available this fall, is rose gold-tone and features a detailed world map on its blue-gray dial. This summer, Halle will accompany the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) to Nicaragua, where she will visit schools and farms supported by the Watch Hunger Stop campaign and publicize the work being done there. Additionally, Halle will be appearing as a presenter at the 8th Annual Golden Heart Awards Dinner on October 16th, hosted by God's Love We Deliver, a New York-based nonprofit organization that provides personalized meals. Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour will receive the Michael Kors Award, and CBS CEO Leslie Moonves will receive the Golden Heart Award. Halle said, "Since the launch of the 100 Series last spring, we have provided over 5 million meals through the United Nations World Food Programme. I am proud of this achievement and look forward to continuing my work to improve the lives of those in need." Halle has supported domestic violence victims for over 10 years, and continues to contribute to charitable causes, including her involvement in the Revlon Run/Walk for Women as a brand ambassador for Revlon.
