LITHIUM HOMME has announced a collaboration project with the British rock band The Heartbreaks, who are scheduled to perform at Fuji Rock Festival. The Heartbreaks join the LITHIUM HOMME MUSIC PROJECT, a project launched last year with the concept of fusing fashion and rock. For the LITHIUM HOMME MUSIC PROJECT, the brand collaborated with Japanese rock band Alexandros for its AW13 collection. The band created the collection's theme song and featured the band as models. The brand has also collaborated with rocker Kazuya Yoshii in the past. The Heartbreaks will once again be featured in the AW14-15 collection, and plans include the release of music and a collection video, as well as the release of collaborative items. The Heartbreaks have previously appeared as campaign models for Burberry Prorsum. In conjunction with the project announcement, vocalist Matthew Whitehouse commented, "I've always been influenced by the fashion of cool Japanese musicians like Yoshio Hayakawa and Takashi Mizutani, who wear black clothes and black sunglasses. I'm very happy and proud to be a part of this tradition."
