Tsutaya Bookstore in Daikanyama is selling a limited edition "FOREVER Pininfarina Cambiano Pen" (19,440 yen), an ink-free pen that can be used for a lifetime.
This pen was developed in collaboration with an Italian stationery manufacturer by Pininfarina, famous for its work on Ferrari and other cars. Its design was inspired by the "Cambiano" concept car unveiled by the company in 2012, and its body combines wood and aluminum to create a beautiful streamlined shape. It's extremely rare in Japan, and Tsutaya Bookstore only carries the black model.
The nib is made of a special alloy that oxidizes when rubbed across paper, leaving a line that cannot be erased with an eraser. The writing style changes depending on the pressure applied, making it feel like a pencil.
