Italian fountain pen brand Montegrappa will release a limited edition Batman fountain pen (345,000 yen) in collaboration with Batman.

Only 1,939 pieces will be available worldwide, in honor of 1939, the year Batman first appeared in an American comic. In Japan, only two pieces will be sold in advance at the Ginza Stationary Festa, which will be held at Ginza Mitsukoshi from January 23rd.

The fountain pen body is made of aluminum with a dark gray anodized finish. The clip is made of ruthenium. The color is reminiscent of Batman's original costume, and the surface is engraved with a flying bat motif. The nib is made of rhodium-plated 18-karat gold and features the Batman emblem.
