New York shoe brand Stuart Weitzman is hosting a bespoke event for its iconic "5050" long boots in the women's shoe section on the second floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building. The event runs until July 15th. Stuart Weitzman, beloved by celebrities like Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, Miranda Kerr, Olivia Palermo, and Angelina Jolie, celebrated its 20th anniversary last year with the release of 20 color variations for its "5050" knee-high boots, a winter staple. This year, the lineup has been expanded to 25 variations. This event is sponsored by Swarovski, and includes a gorgeous model adorned with Swarovski elements, priced at 2 million yen. The actual boots are on display in the store's second-floor shoe section and are available for custom order. Customers can also create "5050" boots in suede with studs. Prices start from 115,000 yen.
A brand representative is enthusiastic, saying, "Stuart Weitzman originally had many shoes decorated with Swarovski crystals, which led to this collaboration. In Japan, classic colors such as navy, gray, and black usually sell well, but for this order period we have selected around 20 colors that are not available in Japan. We hope you will combine them with Swarovski crystals to create a pair that is just yours."
