Italian knitwear brand Cruciani opened a new shop on the first floor of the Imperial Hotel on July 12th. This is Cruciani's fourth store exclusively selling apparel in Japan.
The store offers a selection of high-quality knitwear for both men and women, including soft, smooth 100% linen cardigans, cozy 100% cashmere short-sleeved knitwear, and piece-dyed, low-gauge crew-neck sweaters with a melange effect.
While the knitwear selection generally features vibrant colors, a Cruciani PR representative noted that, in light of the hotel's clientele, "we will need to carefully select products that suit our customers' tastes." Prices range from 30,000 yen for knitwear to 80,000 yen for jackets.
In addition, bracelets, bags, and scarves from the accessory line CrucianiC are also available. Cruciani C, the lace-embroidered bracelet that has sold over 15 million units worldwide since its launch in 2011, celebrates its third anniversary this summer with the release of the new "Cruciani C Bracelet HAPPY" (¥1,500 each), a new design based on the classic clover motif. Embracing the motto "Happiness must be shared," the bracelets are available in 15 colors. Available from July 18th, they will be available at Cruciani stores in Harajuku, Hankyu Umeda Main Store, and other participating retailers, as well as the official online shop. Cruciani is a brand born from Maglital, founded in Perugia, Italy in 1966. Part of the Caprai family's long-standing business in Perugia, the Maglital Group operates spinning, dyeing, and fabric factories. The group utilizes the raw materials produced there, traditional artisanal techniques, and innovative material development technologies, such as "yarn printing," to create products. Cruciani has long wanted to open a store in the Imperial Hotel, a prestigious luxury hotel with a long history. The hotel is located next to Guerlain and opposite Chanel.
