To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the opening of its Gucci store in Japan, Gucci has kicked off the "The House of Artisans" event at Gucci Ginza. It will run until July 6th.
This event allows artisans to demonstrate the traditional and innovative techniques passed down at Gucci. For this occasion, artisans specializing in leather goods, shoes, silk products, and jewelry have come to Japan from the Gucci workshop in Florence, Italy. The event can also be viewed on monitors on each floor of the store.
Limited-edition items crafted on-site by artisans are available for purchase. Customers can enjoy services such as engraving for leather goods and jewelry, handwriting for scarves, and special plaques for shoes.
The event schedule is as follows: July 2nd: 11:00 to 13:00, 14:00 to 16:00, 17:00 to 20:00; July 3rd: 13:00 to 15:00 and 16:00 to 19:00; July 4th: 13:00 to 15:00 and 16:00 to 18:00; July 5th and 6th: 11:00 to 13:00, 14:00 to 16:00 and 17:00 to 20:00.
