On July 12th, select shop "CHARIE VICE," located in the Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building, held a special one-night party at INTERSECT by LEXUS in Minami-Aoyama, inviting fans of the brand to discuss its appeal. The event was attended by regular customers, celebrities, and even guitarist Kotaro Oshio, who performed.
Through this event, Isetan Men's, the organizers, aimed to provide a place for fans of the brand to gather and increase brand awareness. Approximately 150 attendees, dressed in "resort formal" fashions (jackets and shorts), the sub-theme of the party, shared drinks and discussed Charlie VICE and their own lifestyles. Special guests at the party included actor Junichi Ishida, fashion director Yoshimasa Hoshiba, and essayist and fashion historian Kaori Nakano, who discussed the ideal man. Guitarist Kotaro Oshio also attended, thrilling the audience with a live guitar performance on FM radio's J-WAVE (81.3). "Charlie Weiss" is a fictional character created for the program "Tokyo Kaigi," a talk show featuring Kundo Koyama and guests airing every Saturday at midnight on BS Fuji. The character's name is a playful reference to the Japanese phrase "frivolous vice president." While the character's age, occupation, and place of origin are unknown, he is described as a "master of stylish entertainment" who loves to travel, visiting many countries and being inspired by their cultures and customs, honing his sense of style. He is also well-versed in a variety of fields, including music, photography, and cooking. To commemorate the 10th anniversary of its remodeling in September 2013, the Isetan Shinjuku Men's Store opened a new select shop, "THE GALLERY by CHALIE VICE," on the 8th floor of the building. The shop stocks "high-end items" that Charlie Vice would likely own, from men's goods to food.
