David Beckham is launching a menswear brand.

The brand will be founded together with Simon Fuller, who runs his wife Victoria's brand and has been the couple's business partner and advisor since their days with the Spice Girls, and will expand globally through a deal with Global Brands, a subsidiary of Hong Kong fashion company Li & Fung.

The release date and detailed lineup of products from the new brand are unknown, but given that Global Brands highly values Beckham's status as both a sports star and a style icon, it is highly likely that the brand will be sportswear-related.
