Laforet Harajuku x Barbie dolls, dress-up clothes and other original items released

Dec 9, 2014

Laforet Harajuku will be holding a collaboration project with fashion doll Barbie, "Barbie in LAFORET -Limited Collection-," from February 7th to March 1st.
This project commemorates Barbie's 55th anniversary. During this period, select brands will be selling Barbie dolls and their outfit sets in advance or for a limited time. Approximately 20 fashion brands within the building are also participating in the event, and Barbie-original items are also scheduled to be released.
Since her debut in 1959, Barbie has been beloved by girls around the world. She was also produced in Japan for about 10 years in the 1950s, and this represents the wish of original creator Ruth Handler: that women achieve their dreams and aspire to the future. She has collaborated with brands such as Christian Dior, Prada, and Giorgio Armani in the past, and has become a popular fashion icon.
