Converse's top apparel line, CONS RENNOVATOR, will begin selling its first collection in March. The line, creatively directed by N.HOOLYWOOD designer Daisuke Obana, takes inspiration from the brand's activewear era and recreates it as modern Converse clothing. The debut collection features 20 styles, including windbreakers, coats, blousons, pullovers, and drawstring pants. Each item is designed not based on functionality, but on the idea of incorporating functionality into the design. Each piece incorporates only the bare minimum of functionality needed for everyday use, such as stretch, water repellency, breathability, and warmth.
Also, the brand's signature star mark has been enlarged, cut out and scattered in various places, transforming it into a sophisticated urban color block. Furthermore, an iconic print from the shoe archive has also been enlarged and used in monochrome, completing a contemporary and graphic sports style.
