
Primarily American luxury fashion house Michael Kors and luxe Italian sportswear brand ellesse have teamed up to celebrate '70s sport fashion. The collection's vibrant, sporty, and glamorous designs come to life in a vibrant campaign starring model Emily Ratajkowski and Brooklyn-based rapper Jay Critch, alongside an all-star cast of musicians, models, and multi-talented talent.
The campaign was produced in Miami and photographed by renowned fashion photographer Lachlan Bailey, with styling by Mel Ottenberg, editor-in-chief of cult pop magazine Interview.

The Michael Kors and ellesse capsule collection, launching in May, is a 24-piece athleisure style that offers a luxurious and modern interpretation of retro sports fashion, evoking the bold attitude, confidence and timeless appeal of a vintage lifestyle. Each item features a special mark that combines the iconic Michael Kors logo with the ellesse logo, which is inspired by tennis and skiing. This emblem, signifying the collaboration between Michael Kors and ellesse, also appears on bags and accessories in the lifestyle collection.

The color palette is another element that adds a fresh twist to the designs. ellesse's iconic vibrant orange and red coexist alongside classic hues like navy blue and white. Bold track jackets and pants, vintage-style swimsuits, platform sneakers, logo slides, and neon bucket hats celebrate a modern interpretation of classic style. Michael Kors must-haves like the Hudson backpack and Bradshaw shoulder bag complete the perfectly structured collection.
Shot on a tennis court in the vibrant, sun-drenched heart of Miami, the campaign embodies the sophisticated, confident, optimistic and energetic charm that is embedded in the DNA of both Michael Kors and ellesse. Alongside Klitch and model Ratajkowski, who provide the backing music for the stills and footage, an international cast including popular models Lexi Boling, Herzen Clerge, and Lucas Ucedo, musician Wolftyla, and Japanese artist Kemio further enhance the campaign's sophisticated appeal.
The capsule collection campaign will be rolled out in a series of pop-up stores and activations around the world.
