Anya Hindmarch opened a pop-up shop called "STICKER SHOP" at The Stage on the first floor of the Isetan Shinjuku main building, offering an advance sale of leather goods featuring striking sticker designs. On the opening day, designer Anya Hindmarch also visited the store for a press preview. Regarding the launch of her first Japanese collection at Isetan Shinjuku, Anya commented, "Ever since I started designing handbags, it's been my dream to showcase my brand's items at Isetan. Isetan is an important partner who shares our brand's three core values: craftsmanship, humor, and personalization." In response, Hiroshi Onishi, Representative Director and President of Isetan Mitsukoshi Ltd., said, "There is no greater honor than hearing a designer say it's their dream to carry their products at our department store. I have been in in-depth communication with Anya for about four years, since the handbags at the Shinjuku store were remodeled." The sticker bags, which garnered attention at London Fashion Week, originated from Anya's days as a student in the UK, when she would decorate her bags with stickers. For this collection, she used Italian leather and intricately processed it to create three-dimensional leather stickers for adults. Anya said of the sticker collection, "By combining beauty and humor, I hope people will enjoy fashion as art." The shop also carries three sticker items exclusive to Japan: "KAWAII," "Like!", and "Red Winky Face," inspired by the Japanese flag. Anya smiled as she explained how to enjoy stickers, beloved by fashionistas like model Cara Dell'Herbigne, saying, "It's fun to stick them on your phone or laptop, or you can write a message in alphabet letters and give them as gifts. I'm sure the humorous people of Japan will find their own interpretations and use them to their advantage."
