■ "bjork:archives" Bjork
This is a collection of works by the world-famous artist Bjork, compiling her solo career since her 1993 album "debut." It is a luxurious archive collection containing five booklets and posters featuring Bjork's album and single jacket designs. It was released to coincide with the retrospective exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, which began on March 8th. The book design was by M/M Paris.
In addition to music video photography by Michel Gondry, Spike Jonze, and Chris Cunningham, and poetic texts by longtime collaborator and Icelandic poet Sjon, the book features photographs of Björk in breathtaking costumes by Alexander McQueen and Hussein Chalayan.
Photographers include Nan Goldin, Juergen Teller, and Nobuyoshi Araki, allowing you to enjoy the world created by Björk and this internationally acclaimed artist.
