Perfume collaborates with Shinjuku Isetan! Dance heels designed by the members, a favorite store map, and more are available

Mar 23, 2015

Perfume and Isetan Shinjuku are collaborating. Celebrating their 10th anniversary as a major label, the group and the store, which aims to become "the world's best fashion museum," will be hosting a collaborative space from April 1st to 14th where fans can experience "digital, fashion, and sound."

As part of the collaboration, the music video (MV) for Perfume's first single of 2015, "Pick Me Up," which will be released on April 29th, was filmed at Isetan Shinjuku. The MV, which is themed around "shopping gravity" and "the wonders of Shinjuku," begins with the members being sucked into the store's window (the MV will be released on Perfume's official YouTube account on April 1st).

In the MV, Nocchi, A-chan, and Kashiyuka wear outfits and accessories designed by young creators curated by the store. Some of the costumes and accessories featured in the music video by Mame, Taro Horiuchi, Akaneutsumi-ya, and others will be on sale at the store.

As a collaboration item, Perfume's iconic high heels have been created under the supervision of the members. "Perfume Dance Heels" (19,000 yen), designed for easy dancing, are available from Mitsukoshi Isetan's private brand, NUMBER TWENTY-ONE. These high heels are worn by the members in the dance scene in the music video.

Additionally, the three members, who are big fans of Isetan, have created a map called "Pick Me Up MAP" featuring their favorite spots in the Isetan Shinjuku store. A stamp rally will be held throughout the building during the event.

On the 30th, an exclusive interview with the members about "How to spend time at Isetan Shinjuku" in relation to this collaboration will be published on Isetan Shinjuku's owned media, "ISETAN PARK net."
