Each bookstore will act as a concierge, recommending "the book you should read now" to FASHION HEADLINE readers. Every Thursday, each branch of art bookstore "NADiff" will introduce a book they recommend. This time, we will be introducing Gallery 5, the branch in Shinjuku, Tokyo (3-20-2 Nishi-Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo Opera City Tower, 3rd floor).

■ TOO MUCH Magazine Issue 6

The latest issue of TOO MUCH Magazine, an independent magazine based on the concept of "Romantic Geography," focuses on cities and the people who gather there from a different perspective each issue.

With its stylish photographs by renowned photographers and texts by a stellar lineup of writers, the magazine has become a hot topic among art and architecture fans not only in Japan but also overseas. Titled "A Fake Mountain," this issue focuses on the theme of "nature," and features a compelling interview with Tsuyoshi Tane, the internationally acclaimed young architect who presented a proposal for the new National Stadium that coexists with nature, as well as a report on the world's oldest murals in Indonesia by adventurer and photographer Naoki Ishikawa. The second half of the issue also focuses on designer Christopher Nemeth, who garnered attention when Louis Vuitton paid homage to him in the 2015-16 Autumn/Winter men's collection, and includes an article featuring new photos of the late designer's two daughters by photographer Anders Edström, making for a robust fashion-related feature. Published twice a year, this is one to look forward to already.
