From December 1st to 25th, all KIHACHI restaurants will be offering a Christmas course featuring an original "Rossini" created by each chef.
"Rossini" is a dish made with truffles, foie gras, and beef, beloved by Italian gourmet composer Gioachino Rossini. Kihachi will be offering courses featuring a "Rossini" created with the passion of each of its seven chefs, based on the theme "Chef's Best Rossini." Each chef will create a unique "Rossini" based on their own theme.
At the Aoyama flagship store, chef Yasushi Ishikawa has created a "White Rossini" based on the theme "White Happy Christmas!", inspired by the white snow falling on Ginkgo Avenue, which overlooks the Aoyama flagship store. The use of porcini mushrooms brings out the truffles, foie gras and beef, and finally the golden consommé soup is poured in front of the viewer to complete the dish.
Other Rossini creations based on themes include "Delicious Smiles" at the Yokohama Queen's East store, "Never-before-seen Tastes" at the Takashimaya Yokohama store, "Delivering the Chef's Memories" at the Isetan Sagamihara store, "Searching for Treasures" at the Isetan Tachikawa store, "The Moment the Scenery Changes" at the Nagoya JR Central Towers store, and "Connecting Thoughts and Flying Out into the World" at Air Terminal Grill Kihachi.
