Tod's "Flower Bag" Ginza color is blue and navy

Sep 25, 2015

A new TOD'S store has opened in the handbag department on the first floor of Ginza Mitsukoshi. In response to growing sales from foreign visitors to Japan, the store has expanded its product lineup to cater to VIP customers and inbound tourists, unique to Ginza. The store offers new products that utilize the brand's saddlery (horse harness) techniques and cutting-edge technology, as well as elegant and understated items from popular series. To commemorate the opening, the store will be selling a Ginza Mitsukoshi-exclusive "TOD'S Flower Bag," a blue and navy matte calfskin bag (156,000 yen) that is celebrating its third season this fall and winter. It is available in the Piccola (M) size, perfect for Ginza ladies. The "Flower Bag" features leatherwork with a Memphis pattern, a motif also featured in this fall and winter collection. The line, which makes use of sartorial techniques typical of Made in Italy, using thread processing, stitch work and fringe, is finished in feminine and precious items that are characteristic of creative director Alessandra Facchinetti.

In addition, at Ginza Mitsukoshi, a new Tod's corner has been added to the women's shoe floor on the second floor, ahead of the bag department on the first floor.
