This fall/winter collection, MARNI embodies the modern girl, blending intelligence with uninhibitedness. The collection features minimalist dresses and coats crafted from light felt and wool, cut in straight lines, mixed with wild fur and python. Each piece exudes a presence reminiscent of modern art. The coat shown here (1,172,000 yen) features a wool body and fox fur sleeves. The front lacks a collar, buttons, and zipper, and there's a deep slit at the back, allowing the garment to flow gracefully with every step. Circling the waist with a wide belt, as in the collection look, further accentuates the A-line silhouette. The fur on the sleeves is green at the shoulders and features a gradation of white and brown fur near the cuffs. While it's elegant when paired with a dress of the same length, as in this look, the current trend is to wear it casually with blue jeans.
