To commemorate the release of the January 2016 issue of GINZA magazine, where photographer Yoshiyuki Okuyama shot the special feature "What is Fashion Photography, Anyway?", a photo exhibition titled "NEW FASHION PHOTOGRAPHY" will be held at Gallery VACANT in Tokyo's Shibuya Ward from December 22nd.
The theme of the feature is "Fashion in 2015," and 24-year-old photographer Yoshiyuki Okuyama has taken 82 photos, all featuring different clothing, locations, and people. The content asks, "What is fashion photography, anyway?" and "What does it mean to communicate fashion?"
The exhibition will feature a total of 40 photos, including those featured in the feature, as well as photos not yet published in the magazine. Additionally, a paid talk event will be held during the exhibition, featuring Okuyama and invited guests. While looking back on the photos featured in the feature, Okuyama will talk about behind-the-scenes shoots and his thoughts on fashion photography.

In addition, original goods such as T-shirts featuring photos from the special feature (2 types available for 4,000 yen) and the "Utsurundesu Okuyama Yoshiyuki x GINZA Limited Edition Model" (4 types available for 1,500 yen) will be on sale at the venue.
