Beat Takeshi's "Art Takeshi" exhibition will be held at Matsuya Ginza from February 25 to March 7, 2016. For Beat Takeshi, drawing is the only pastime he can fully immerse himself in. The exhibition was initiated by Beat Takeshi himself, who suggested, "I wonder if people would enjoy looking at my paintings if I displayed them side by side?" The entire venue will be sprinkled with Beat Takeshi's signature essence, creating an exhibition space filled with a unique, witty atmosphere amidst chaos. The exhibition will offer a glimpse into the materials and colorful landscapes that pop into Beat Takeshi's mind like a firework. The exhibit will include approximately 100 prints, paintings, and semi-sculptural pieces, most of which will be shown for the first time. One of the highlights will be seeing how Beat Takeshi will display the "square planes" rather than just arranging square pictures.
