This is a collection of works by Anders Edstrom, a photographer well-known for his work in magazines such as "Purple Fashion," who continued to photograph Hanezawa Garden in Hiroo, Tokyo, which closed in December 2005, over a period of approximately nine years.
Anders Edstrom, a native of Sweden, has participated in numerous group exhibitions, including "Elysian Fields" at the Centre Pompidou in Paris in 2000 and "Chic Clics" at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Boston in 2002, to his credit. He has also produced several films, including the 2009 feature film "The Anchorage," which he worked on with director C.W. Winter, which won the Grand Prix Gold Prize at the Locarno Film Festival, the Los Angeles Film Critics Association Award, and the Grand Prize in the Independent Film category. He is currently based in Japan and has worked on fashion shoots for well-known brands, including magazines such as "VOGUE," "DUNE," and "SOEN," as well as artist photos of THE NOVEMBERS wearing LAD MUSICIAN costumes.
