December is a month when the city is enveloped in illuminations and the Christmas mood is in full swing, offering many opportunities to spend warm moments with family and loved ones. And yet, as soon as you step outside, you feel the cold, wrapping you up in a tight blanket. It's also a time to reflect on the past year and welcome the new year. So, FASHION HEADLINE asked music lovers in the industry about their favorite songs to listen to during the holiday season! This five-part series will explore music that will make your holiday memories even more vivid, including songs to listen to alone, at parties, and songs that will refresh your spirits. In the first installment, we'll introduce four songs selected by Miho Harazawa, public relations officer at Blue Note Tokyo.
David Bowie & Bing Crosby "PEACE ON EARTH / LITTLE DRUMMER BOY"
Bowie, who released "Low" and "Heroes" that same year, made a guest appearance on Bing Crosby's 1977 CBS Christmas show. It was apparently a surprising meeting that caused quite a stir, but it was a surprisingly well-coordinated duet.

"PEACE ON EARTH / LITTLE DRUMMER BOY"
David Bowie & Bing Croosby
Ray Charles & Betty Carter "BABY, IT'S COLD OUTSIDE"
A standard number often heard around Christmas, in which a guy stops his girlfriend from going home by telling her, "It's cold outside." Many singers have sung this song, but I like the combination of Ray and Betty the most.

RAY CHARLES AND BETTY CARTER

Joe Bataan "CONTINENTAL SQUARE DANCE"
From the smash hit album "SalSoul," released by the "King of Latin Soul" Joe Bataan on Fania in 1974. Joe's voice always lifts the heart, and this song, coupled with its light-hearted rhythm, is perfect for the festive season.

"SALSOUL"
Joe Bataan
Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes - "THE LOVE I LOST"
Family, friends, and lovers. The holiday season is a time to spend time with loved ones, but some people may have recently experienced a breakup. Teddy Benderglass's song about lost love will help you take a new step forward.

"BLACK & BLUE"
