Pass the Baton collaborates with Blue Note outdoor festival to exhibit and sell jazzy fashion in Omotesando

Aug 14, 2015

PASS THE BATON in Omotesando, Tokyo, will be collaborating with the Blue Note Jazz Festival in Japan, which will be held at the Red Brick Warehouse in Yokohama from August 27th to September 27th, to host "This is my Jazzy Style!".

The Blue Note Jazz Festival in Japan is the Japanese version of the New York-based music event Blue Note Jazz Festival, which sees famous jazz players and new generation artists who carry on the spirit of jazz perform live night after night at various locations in New York over the course of a month. It is a one-night-only outdoor festival (held on September 27th).

As part of the collaboration with the festival, PASS THE BATON will be proposing its own take on "jazzy" fashion. Inside the store's small museum space, "LITTLE PAVILION," items such as 1950s-style tube dresses, decorative head accessories, and dresses with waistbands tied with flat shoes will be on display and for sale. In addition, jazz-related mementos and "jazzy" fashion items collected from customers will also be on display. Applications will begin on August 14th.

In addition, from September 12th, one-of-a-kind paint-over bags will be on sale, made by adding new designs to used shopping bags.
