Make your own clothes like in "3-minute cooking"! Spoken Words Project's new brand, 3min., launched, directed by Rikako Nagashima

Jun 3, 2016

The spoken words project has teamed up with KOKKA to launch 3min., a new fashion sewing brand specializing in printed textiles.

3min. is a fashion sewing brand that offers a new approach to sewing your own clothes. The brand name comes from the idea of making clothes in the same fun and casual way as cooking a meal through "3-minute cooking." The art director is Nagashima Rikako, and the interior coordinators are Kobayashi Kyo and Kobayashi Mana.

The main product will be a deluxe box kit designed like an art book, containing the printed fabric, original clothing patterns, and sample photos. New fabrics and patterns will be released twice a year and sold by weight at local fabric stores. The first collection is scheduled to go on sale in August.

The website (http://www.3min.info), which opened on June 1st, not only sells each product but also provides sewing instructions. The brand also strives for originality as a fashion brand, proposing ideas to customers through collection shows and presentations, aiming to rethink and fuse the concepts of "buying" and "making" clothes. Ultimately, the brand plans to sew fabric-related items, not just fashion, but also miscellaneous goods and spaces.
