COACH's "COACH 1941" men's spring 2017 runway show was held in London on June 13th. Named after the year Coach was founded, the collection, which began with the brand's Spring 2016 collection, focuses on ready-to-wear, bags, shoes, and accessories, emphasizing craftsmanship and creativity. This season, the collection reimagines the quintessential American man's wardrobe, drawing on keywords such as biker gangs, B-movies, 1950s beatniks, New York punk and hip-hop, the TV series "The Twilight Zone," and James Dean. The spirit of Californian artist Gary Baseman, with whom the brand collaborated on the Spring 2015 collection, is expressed in a workwear color palette, incorporating nostalgic icons such as surf, Hawaii, Western, hot rods, and Tex Avery.
