The "Tribal Accessory Collection Exhibition," showcasing accessories that have lain dormant at the "Accessory Museum," will be held at PASS THE BATON in Omotesando from July 1st to 18th.
The exhibition features a collection of accessories that were collected by an artist drawn to their free-spirited designs, overflowing with ethnic color, vitality, and originality, but that had long lain dormant in the warehouse of the Accessory Museum, a private art museum in Meguro, Tokyo, because they could not be sold in regular stores due to the hand-made handprints and variations in the natural stones.
The accessory collection, which is filled with a tribal atmosphere unique to this season, is handcrafted from natural materials, and each piece is unique in its texture and finish. While some have a unique character and others are a little awkward, the designs and styles of the accessories powerfully convey the fashion and spirit of the local tribes.
